Over the past 15 years between 2008 and 2023, EfG has not only highlighted the challenges faced by women in the informal sector but has also been at the forefront of innovative interventions. We have offered business training, enhanced access to financing opportunities, and provided a robust legal framework for redressal through paralegals, an approach that has greatly addressed the core challenges faced by market women.
